The Shufflemonster, a Social Playlist Player
Posted on June 26th, 2010
Here’s a pretty neat flash music player created by Michael Brooks. It uses social content site reddit.com to populate playlists through RSS. Still in earliest stages of development, but open and welcome to use. Try it out: shufflemonster.com
Couple notes:
-You can chose from a series of picked feeds or input your own.
-When the end of the playlist is reached, it loads the next page.
-You can make permalinks using a model like this http://www.shufflemonster.com/?trance
-Clicking on the video opens that youtube page in a new browser
Expect to see new versions to appear in the undefined future. With maybe more features like a shuffle option! Maybe even a more refined UI. You can use the comment field below this post if you want to leave feedback on this app; bugs, feature requests, etc… That is acceptable since there isn’t really anywhere to do that on the music player itself.
